Matt Baram: Adam Lipshitz

MATT BARAM (Adam Lipschitz) is a veteran of Toronto’s legendary Second City Comedy, having written and performed in six main stage shows, including: Bush League of Justice, Reloaded, Armaget-it-on!, and Bird Flu Over the Cuckoo’s Nest; and is in a sketch group called The Gents with Second City alumns. Amongst his numerous TV and film credits are: Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium, Comedy Network’s “Punched Up,” CBC’s “Next Comedy Legend,” “The Newsroom” and “Queer As Folk.” Matt is currently developing a sitcom with 20th Century Fox. David Kerr: Chris O'Connell

DAVID KERR (Chris O’Connell), from Montreal, is known to TV audiences as the roving reporter on the hit show “Canadian Idol.” Originally from Montreal, he studied at John Abbott College, Ryerson’s Radio and Television Arts Program, and the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York City. David can be seen playing Herb on TBS’s “Love Bites”. He has also made numerous appearances as a featured guest on Much Music’s hugely popular “Video On Trial.” 

Jeanie Calleja: Bad Dates/Jill

JEANIE CALLEJA (Bad Dates/Jill) created one of Toronto’s first all-girl sketch comedy troupes, The GTOs, and regularly appears in the theatre (The Trial of Thumbelina, Pond Life). She appeared opposite Martin Short in the movie Get Over It, and was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for her role in CBC’s “Our Hero.” Other film and TV credits include “Slings and Arrows,” “On The Line,” and “Childstar.” Jeanie recently had a baby, Jeremy, with her husband, actor/writer, Gord Rand.

ANDREA LUI: Understudy Rachel

ANDREA LUI (Understudy Rachel) is a graduate of York University’s Theatre Program, as well as the Randolph Academy’s College Program. Recent credits include Duel of Ages (True Edge Productions), The Crucible (Annex Theatre), Red Phoenix (Fu-GEN Theatre’s Potluck Festival), The Fall of Team Justice (Atomic Legion Theatre) and The Golden Mickey’s (Disney Cruise Lines). Andrea is also a basic actor combatant with Fight Directors Canada. She enjoys martial arts, circus arts, and rock climbing.

JANE LUK: Rachel

JANE LUK (Rachel) is an actor, writer, comedian, improvisor, producer and director. She is the creator of the award-winning video short, “How To Be More Chinese.” TV & film credits include: “Billable Hours” “Saw lll”, “Perfect Strangers”, “Train 48,” and “Missing.” A four-time nominee for Funniest Female Improvisor at the Canadian Comedy Awards, Jane has performed for Just For Laughs, LYKPT, Fu-Gen, the Bad Dog Theatre Co., and is a founding member of improv troupe “The Wrecking Crew.”

JEFF MARGOLIS: Adam/Chris Understudy

JEFF MARGOLIS (Understudy Adam/Chris/Dennis), a graduate of The Actors Studio Drama School, is an actor, writer, producer and director. Theatre credits include Willy Wonka in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (TYT). Jeff performs in commercials, and has lent his voice to many bad guys on YTV’s “Totally Spies!” He appeared on “The Smart Woman’s Survival Guide” (W) and “Living the Life” (CTV). He is the creator, head writer, director, and cast member of the sketch troupe, Suckabejeezus.

JUDY MARSHAK: Marcy Cohen/Arlene Lipschitz

JUDY MARSHAK (Marcy Cohen/Arlene Lipschitz), a two-time ACTRA and Dora Award nominee, has enjoyed a long and celebrated career in many facets of show business. Her numerous theatre roles include: Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, Mrs. Tottendale in the Elgin Theatre production of The Drowsy Chaperone, and Marilla in Anne of Green Gables in Charlottetown. Recently Daryl Hannah’s mom in the film All the Good Ones Are Married, and The Stone Angel with Ellen Burstyn.

ALLAN PRICE: Dennis Lipschitz/Party Guy

ALLAN PRICE (Dennis Lipschitz/Party Guy) is a veteran actor who was a regular on Lorne Michaels’ CBC variety show “The Hart And Lorne Terrific Hour,” and had a lead role in Ivan Reitman’s cult classic “Cannibal Girls” with Andrea Martin and Eugene Levy. He has performed in countless theatre, film and TV productions, including: “Queer As Folk,” “Zoey Busiek,” and”ReGenesis.” Thanks to Liz for letting me see all the possibilities, and to my dad, Max.

SHELLEY SIMESTER (Understudy Marcy/Arlene/Bad dates/Jill/Nurse/ Allison ) Theatre credits include: The Last Resort, Nunsense (Drayton Entertainment), I Love You, You’re Perfect…(Theatre New Brunswick, Stage West, Victoria Playhouse), Baby (Persephone Theatre), Into The Woods (CanStage), Lust’s Labour’s Lost (Fringe), Tequila Vampire Matinee (Theatre Passe Muraille ), Grease (Citadel), Fiddler On The Roof and Footloose (Stage West).

ARON TAGER: Rabbi Schlomo/Grandpa Irving

ARON TAGER (Rabbi Schlomo/Grandpa Irving) co-stars as Mortie Fagan in the hit comedy series “Billable Hours.” His extensive stage, film and television credits include: Robert Lepage’s Echo, “The Salem Witch Trials” with Peter Ustinov and Shirley MacLaine; the feature film Protection, opposite Stephen Baldwin and Peter Gallagher; Dr. Vink on “Are You Afraid of the Dark.” Recently “Masters of Horror,” Ken Finkleman’s mini-series “At The Hotel” and with Ben Kingsley in You Kill Me. Aron’s paintings and sculptures are shown across North America.
